RusKom’da Temmuz buluşması: bir atölyeden çok daha fazlası

On July 19, RusKom hosted another gathering for everyone interested in personal growth and new connections. The central event of the day was the workshop “Win People Over in Five Minutes,” led by the founder of the Russian-speaking stand-up club in Istanbul @standup.istanbul, Nikolay Dorofeev (@stoyu_nagolove). The musical part of the evening featured X-Factor Kazakhstan 2018 finalist Zhansultan Zhumagaliyev (@zhan.sultan19).

During the workshop, Nikolay shared simple and practical communication techniques: how to make a strong first impression, engage a conversation partner from the very first minutes, use humor naturally, and feel more confident in new social settings. Participants not only listened but also discussed real-life situations, introduced themselves and their projects, and actively communicated with one another.

After Nikolay’s seminar, which was a great success, guests enjoyed a musical evening. Zhansultan Zhumagaliyev performed famous international hits in his own unique style and introduced the audience to an unusual modern instrument — the trans guitar, which produces rich sound without being connected to electricity. RusKom’s special guests from Kazakhstan also enjoyed traditional Central Asian folk music.

A special highlight of the evening was the performance of 15-year-old Nuri Kemal Erdur. Although the young musician has been learning the electric guitar for only about a year and is entirely self-taught, his performance deeply impressed the audience. Many noted that Nuri plays with a level of skill that even professional musicians would admire. Congratulations!

The gathering took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. RusKom is not only a place for business meetings but also a space where new ideas, friendships, and collaborative projects come to life.
