RusKom supported the premiere performances of the Play “B. R.” in Istanbul

On June 21–22, Paribu Art in Istanbul hosted the premiere performances of “B. R.”, a stage tribute to the poet Boris Ryzhy. The project brought together outstanding actors, musicians, choreographers, producers, and admirers of contemporary theatre, becoming one of the most remarkable Russian-language cultural events of the season.

For the RusKom team, the performance was not only an opportunity to reconnect with the arts but also a platform for building new relationships, strengthening professional dialogue, and expanding cultural cooperation. We would like to express our special gratitude to the project’s producer, Alyona Tin, and the entire creative team for their openness and for giving us the opportunity to become acquainted with their work. The exceptional organization, deep respect for the material, and genuine dedication of everyone involved made this production one of the season’s most significant cultural events.

Boris Ryzhy spent most of his life in Yekaterinburg, where the image of the industrial outskirts became a defining motif of his poetry. The audience was immersed in an intimate setting resembling the rooftop of an apartment building, where dance, music, and poetry brought to life the world of one of the most remarkable poets of the 1990s, often referred to as “the last poet of the twentieth century.”

The production featured Alexey Kirsanov of the Moscow Art Theatre (MKhT), Bolshoi Theatre principal dancers Artemiy Belyakov and Vyacheslav Lopatin, dancer and choreographer Alexander Tronov, Honored Artist of Russia Oleg Gabyshev, singer Vsevolod Dorokhov, musicians of the Euphoria Orchestra, and other distinguished performers. With its outstanding cast, expressive choreography, and powerful musical score, the performance became a deeply moving emotional experience for the audience.

RusKom thanks the project team for their cooperation and warmly congratulates them on the successful premiere performances in Istanbul. We are proud to support initiatives that foster cultural dialogue and bring people together through the arts.
