The delegation of the Istanbul, Russia and Neighboring Countries Business Association (RusKom) held a series of official working meetings in Ankara. During the visit, the delegation met with organizations that play an important role in strengthening Russian-Turkish trade, economic, humanitarian, and business cooperation.
The delegation included RusKom President Hüseyin Kılınç, We Partners Consulting Director and RusKom business partner Zakiya Hokam, Director of Commercial Coordination Bülent Akkılıç, and Association PR Manager Ekaterina Polishchuk.
The first meeting of the programme took place at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Türkiye, where the delegation was welcomed by Nikita Zagorodnyuk, Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Türkiye, Shamil Yanmurdin, Consultant of the Economic Department, and other representatives of the Trade Mission. The parties discussed RusKom’s current activities, opportunities to support Russian and Turkish businesses, and prospects for further cooperation aimed at strengthening bilateral economic relations.
The programme continued with a meeting at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, where the delegation met with Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General of Exports. The discussion focused on expanding export cooperation, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives, and exploring possible formats of collaboration between public institutions and the business community.

The delegation also visited the Russian Language and Culture Centre (RUSMER), where they met with Director Lyudmila Nosova-Kural. The meeting provided an opportunity to learn more about educational materials for teaching Russian as a foreign language, the Russian language certification system, and to discuss broader issues of humanitarian cooperation and the development of joint cultural initiatives.

The visit to the capital of the Republic of Türkiye marked an important step in strengthening RusKom’s institutional ties with key organizations in both countries. The meetings reaffirmed the mutual commitment to developing constructive dialogue and opened new opportunities for implementing joint projects in the fields of business, education, and people-to-people diplomacy.
