Educational Initiatives
Since 2016, RusKom has been developing various initiatives for women, children, and families that bring together education, culture, and social integration. RusKom strives to create an environment where people can find like-minded individuals and exchange experiences. The educational direction of RusKom combines structured learning with community-driven formats. These may include masterclasses, workshops, festivals, language clubs, performances, and creative activities.
Special attention is given to initiatives that:
- support bilingual and intercultural development
- create accessible and engaging learning environments
- combine education, culture, and social interaction
- strengthen communities through shared experiences
Programs for women, children, and families
RusKom regularly organizes educational and community-based formats tailored to different audiences. For women, these include masterclasses, creative sessions, and meetings focused on skills development, self-realization, and experience exchange. An example of such a regular format is the personal development festival Netali Fest.
For children, RusKom supports long-term initiatives, such as the RusKom theatre group “Novella,” which annually delights hundreds of Russian-speaking children across the country with interactive performances.
For families, RusKom hosts open days where guests can explore available initiatives and projects, connect with others, present their own ideas, and become part of a supportive community.
RusKom Educational Partnerships
An important part of RusKom’s educational initiatives is collaboration with partner organizations. One such project is the Educational Center “Labirint” — a partner initiative aimed at supporting the Russian language among bilingual children living outside their native language environment.
The center provides programs for preschool and school-age children aimed at developing language skills close to native proficiency while preserving cultural identity.
Key areas of the center’s work:
- programs for developing speech, reading, and writing skills
- family consultations on bilingual upbringing
- educational support for parents
- cultural and creative activities for children of different ages
The center also operates a library of children’s and young adult literature, helping to maintain interest in reading and learning beyond the classroom.
Opportunities for participants
RusKom’s educational initiatives are open to participants with diverse backgrounds and from different countries. We see education not only as the acquisition of knowledge but also as a way to build connections, preserve cultural identity, and create new opportunities for development in an international environment.
