RusKom’da İki Dilli Eğitim Konferansı
Bilingual Education Conference at RusKom
With the support of the Association, RusKom hosted a professional conference dedicated to bilingual education and the development of children growing up in multilingual environments.
This event was the first conference of its kind for the Russian-speaking community in Turkey, as well as for educators and psychologists living and working in the country. The conference brought together experts in the field of education from different Turkish cities (Ankara, Izmir, Istanbul), as well as guests from Europe (Italy, Germany). Participants included professionals with academic degrees, representatives of academic institutions, and practicing specialists from children’s educational centers and private practices.
Irina Marinova-Shen, founder of the “Labirint” Educational Center and author of the conference, noted:
“We were very pleased to see interdisciplinary professionals here today.
A dialogue took place where academic research and practical experience met.
This is especially important and beneficial, first and foremost, for our children.
We are doing everything possible to improve the effectiveness of the time spent with them.”
Among the key topics of the conference were approaches to working with Generation Alpha, as well as the influence of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on the development of communication skills.
In the second part of the program, specialists presented their practical and methodological developments, shared professional experience and tools. Particular attention was paid to the diagnosis of speech difficulties, neuro-pedagogical approaches, and practical case studies related to the development of Russian-Turkish bilingual children.
The conference became a platform for open professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the development of new professional connections.
Inna Yılmaz, a Russian language teacher working with bilingual children, shared her impressions:
“I am very glad that RusKom and the organizers provided such an opportunity to meet and discuss issues that are important for our profession.”
RusKom supports educational initiatives and professional cooperation between specialists and organizations and is proud to contribute to the development of a community of educators and parents engaged in the topics of childhood multilingualism and learning.
